Q.  Who is eligible to participate in the programs contained in this guide?

A.  Full-time faculty members in the regular, special, research or clinical title series (as long as sufficient time can be devoted to research) and senior research staff who are eligible to serve as a PI on external grants.

Q.  Why is the enrichment program based on FY 2009-2010 indirect cost activity?

A.  Basing the awards on activity that is two years old allows for accurate budgeting and earlier award notification to the units.

Q.  Is any core facility eligible to participate in the Service Center Pilot Grant program?

A.  Yes, as long as they are established as an official university service center operating on a recharge basis.

Q.  Where can I find help with research proposal submission, budgeting, etc.?

A.  The Office of Sponsored Projects Administration (OSPA) will assist researchers in this area.

Q.  Are resources available to assist me with locating funding opportunities and potential collaborators?

A.  Yes, the Proposal Development Office (PDO) can help with identify potential funding opportunities and collaborators.
