Web-Based Internal Approval Form Being Developed

The Office of Sponsored Projects Administration is working with the Enterprise Applications Group (EAG) to create a web-based Internal Approval Form that will be routed for signatures using the workflow functionality in SAP. The goal of Phase I of the project is to recreate the existing form in an electronic format. Later phases will add additional features and enhancements. The plan calls for plenty of view access by administrators to track progress, delegations to allow for signers being out of town or otherwise unavailable, text fields for comments. There are also plans for pilot testing before the e-IAF is released for general use.
