New Web Resource for Limited Submission Grant Opportunities
An increasing number of federal and private funding agencies restrict the number of grant proposals or fellowship applications that an institution may submit in response to a given program solicitation. For these limited submission programs, the University of Kentucky has a well-established internal selection procedure to identify potentially competitive applications. Detailed requirements for program-specific internal competitions are announced through the Proposal Development Office (PDO) and disseminated through pertinent subject mailing lists. For announcements and guidelines for internal competitions, subscribe to lists of interest at this link: Subject Mailing Lists. The Provost’s Office or the Office of the Vice President for Research notifies applicants who have been selected to represent UK through submission to a specific program.
To provide a comprehensive overview of the array of limited submission programs and to facilitate proposal planning and development processes, PDO has posted two new web pages accessible by clicking these links:
Limited submission programs targeting a specific department or college are included in the comprehensive list but are coordinated at the departmental or college level.
For questions about a particular program or if you identify a program that limits submission but is not listed here, please contact the Proposal Development Office to ensure that an application is appropriately considered (257-2861 or proposal@email.uky.edu).
