IRB Document Updates

As "congratulations" and "thank-you's" continue to circulate throughout the University of Kentucky for receiving full accreditation in human research protections, we want to remind everyone many changes were promised in order to meet the standards of the accrediting body AAHRPP (Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs, Inc), and remain to be implemented.

The Office of Research Integrity (ORI) will be regularly updating documents and sending notices by listserv messages to notify you of significant changes.  Most recently, a revised informed consent template (ICF) for both medical IRB and nonmedical IRB was put into production.  The ICF template is available on the ORI web site as "Form C" of the IRB application.

Please help us integrate the newest documents into our human research protections program by checking the ORI website frequently to ensure you are using the most up-to-date versions.
