An important part of working with laboratory animals is knowing the potential risks involved with certain species. The presentation below may be of value when assessing those risks. Please log on to the myUK webpage The myUK webpage can be found at https://myuk.uky.edu/irj/portal Select Employee Self-Service tab, select the Division of Laboratory Animal Resources section and book the Occupational Health and Safety course. Once you have completed the course and quiz, print out your completion certificate and either fax it to 859-323-6002 or email it to our DLARTraining Coordinator . You may also drop or mail a copy of the certificate to our Main office in HSRB 204. Please remember that this is an IACUC requirement for all members of the research staff.
